first keg urinal build

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

first keg urinal build

Post by nuntius01 »

built my first keg urinal for a friends bar the other day. now i just have to convince my wife that i can have one on my work space. took me longer to polish and grind down the edges than anything else.

thanks. it was way easier than i first thought. took only about 5 hours. hardest part was finding the right flush valve extension and two washers to fit the two inch keg opening. rest was cutting, grinding and polishing

Cool but for us old folks that pic is way to small and lost clarity zooming in!

How appropriate. And to think...it was made with a Budweiser keg too...imagine that.

I've seen similar at the Diamond Knot brewery in Mukilteo, WA. Except their's is laying horizontal with the drain out of the bottom (midway between the upper and lower skirts). Still, it makes me shudder a little bit considering the sharp stainless steel edge along the cutout....you don't want to "dangle" there.

NO! That's what the Clydesdales' plumbing is for.
