I found a few different recipes on different sites and in the end just took bits from each and came up with the best apple pie I’ve ever had. Maybe a tad bit sweet because I used 3 cups brown sugar so I’ve adjusted my recipe down to 2. Nevertheless I am extremely impressed with the results, especially being a first try, as well as a first run on the new keg still with 2 inch reflux. For those interested here’s my recipe:

Thanks for the recipe, JamesL73.
Re: My First batch of Apple Pie
Made very similar batch as my first as well, but I used table sugar and cinnamon sticks, was great stuff though I haven't made any since. Think I'll make some soon for Christmas. Friends said it was a little on the sweet side, so next time I'll omit the table sugar.

Re: My First batch of Apple Pie
Mine is similar. But I have adjusted it to use one bottle of 80 proof.
21 oz apple cider
1/2 can frozen apple juice concentrate
1-2 cinnamon sticks
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp ginger
1 bottle 80 proof white dog or vodka.
Process is the same, heat to a boil, cool, add alcohol, wait about 1 week, remove cinnamon sticks, wait another week and drink.
