Good one ben stiller.

I used the copper wire method for my reducers (like Rad described) in the concentric heat exchanger too. Only I flattened some 1/4” OD soft tubing and soldered the gap. I didn’t put a “rain hood” over the throat like some builders do. I don’t think that’s really a problem because it only enhances reflux.

don't want to turn this into a build thread but it is in line with what the op is asking. I used regular reducers since they are relatively
cheap and also did not use a rain hood. I think that the copper wire wound around the inner tube of the concentric condenser is
really important.
