EMAILED THEM ON LEAD FREE
ON EBAY HIGHPROOFPRODUCTS
They are lead free per manufacturer.
So I assume they should be okay to use

If you are soldering anyway you COULD tin the brass where it contacts the liquid.

Just add a nice coat of solder.

Agree with The Baker . If in doubt tin it with solder . ... lead free of cause .

Seriously though , if its on the outside of the copper , then there will be hardly any of the brass exposed to the alcohol anyway as it will be sandwiched between teflon gaskets. .

Is this the culprit? (I couldn’t find them on eBay)

I think you’ll be fine using them, as others have said.

And I’d suggest using DWV copper as it will be less expensive than M, K or L.
