NICE! Its about $5 a bushel now (56 lbs). How you gonna grind it?

Holy shit, I just looked it up. December corn just closed at 3.67 a bushel. Corn is down almost 14% this year

In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. But in practice there is.

Our local feed store is at 12.50. Our big box TS is at 10.00.
At the distillery I am at 4.00 per 50 lbs. I've known my grower for comin up on 40 years. That's delivered across the state.

Have you had good luck with the deer corn? Its cheaper than the regular cracked corn at TSC but I've always been weary of it taste wise.
But what the heck do I know.....I am still learning.

I'm getting it free,,, Still, it doesn't cost much anyway. I'll take it to the mill (about a mile away) to get ground then pass it through my MM.

$11.00/100 lbs. All local grown stuff sold at the feedmill.
Sold as deer feed or animal feed and I buy 200 lbs a month for domestic and wild critters I have running around. Use some for UJ also :)

I saw some cheap deer corn at Wally World and stopped to check the ingredients. It had .001% of a couple 20 syllable compounds and a notice not to feed to livestock. I decided that was a line I wouldn't cross. If they aren't sure it's safe for our animals then I'm better off just spending a couple more bucks at the feed store.
