Hey All, looking at starting up some sour mash, but need to start the first one.. (doh)
Just wanted to check I had my figures right,.
5kg corn grits, boiled to starch
bring temp down to 68 C and add 1kg crushed malted barley
convert, cool, top up to 30l and pitch yeast.
Sound about right?
