Corn Squeezin's

Post by OldManP »

Well, before reading "Pure Corn Whiskey" (PCW) I realized that I hadn't a clue what corn squeezins are, but now I get the idea it is juice that accumulates at the bottom of corn a silo from immense pressure on all the corn above.

Anyways...as it reads in PCW this is the real deal on what to make corn liquor from. So, lets say i was to get my hands on some, what would I do with it? Heat it up with some malt for starch conversion then ferment it with some sugar or no sugar or what? I live in a community where I might be able to find some of this (I think), but i want to make sure i know what to do with it b4 i start inquiring, so if the provider wants a small share of the product I will be able to assure them of my capabilities. Thank you guys!

Should this be in "Recipes" or "Mash, Ferment, Distill" to get a better response???
