May I ask why you specifically want blue corn?
I use an heirloom variety corn that initially I used because it was free. Now I have grown to like the product it makes in a straight corn whiskey so i have not gone back to buying feedcorn. Heirloom varieties don't typically pack as much starch as feed corn per pound and the flavor will likely differ from feed corn. I believe mine does anyway. Can you share your thoughts/process/idea?

I usually use either heirloom or yellow . I been wanting to make with all different types and experiment and have taste tests
