I was cleaning out my bar looking for some nice bottles, and found this stuffed in the back. Some Pear Brandy I made back in 2000! It hasnt been on oak for 13 years, but if I remember right it sat on oak for 3 years before I bottled the last of it, and then it got forgotten and lost in the back of the bar cabinet! Hot damn! I popped the cork and it was literally like fresh pears jumped out at me, no joke. Tastes delicious too. Im like a kid who just found an old favorite toy right now! haha.

Well, that's a nice find. I once found a carboy full of high gravity beer that I had forgotten about for a couple years. Had a nice layer of mold on top, best beer I ever had.
