segregated apple pie?

Post by drunk-pat100 »

I made a few jars of apple pie the other day. The drink segregated. Does any 1 no how to prevent that from happening. All the ingredients are bunched up in about 3 inches of the bottom of a qt jar and its clear on top? It still taste good but have to shake the hell outa it everytime I take it out. Used half jar of ingredients half jar of 160proof, apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon ,nutmeg and apple pie spice. I put all my spices in tea bags. Any1 got any tips as to what im doin wrong?

I used apple pie spice one time, did the same thing. No clue how the fix it. I don't use ground spices anymore.
No, officer, I wasn't distilling alcohol! It was probably that guy!

Age it in an area of the house that has zero gravity.

Or filter it.

Meh. Drink it and filter it through your teeth. Works with coffee...normally. Image

Cider have any binding agents or preservatives? Could rerun it if it bothers you too much. I just gifted mine to all the people I don't like but have to get presents.
