is 15% silver brazing ok?

i recently was given some brazing rods that i was planning to use on my next build. just want to make sure its safe to use first tho. the brazing rods are 15% silver 80% copper and 5% phosphorus worthington rods. anyone have any experience with these?

Haven't cross referenced that particular rod to something I'm familiar with but.
Sounds like it's acceptable for brazing on a moonshine still. With 15% silver it might be a little expensive.
But should work better and easier than cheaper options.

Yes it is fine. But I would rather solder than braze. That way you don't anneal the piss out of it and you save money on gas.

I wouldn't recommend anything less than 5% AG, unless you just join copper to copper.

I've brazed all my stuff on my stills. I like it better.

thanks for the info! just wanted to make sure that it was ok. wasn't sure about the phosphorus...im gonna give it a go and try them then!
