Never heard of an explosion from fumes due to immersion blending!

Just a safety reminder as we think our areas are well vented, this happened in a building half the size of a football field.

It reads like they had an electric mixer stirring a tank for blending. If it's high proof, and the electric motor wasn't explosion proof, it could ignite.

It's interesting that they can label a flash fire as an explosion, but supply no other real information after 10 days.

I've long wanted an industrial immersion blender for mashing. They are expensive, but would be surprised if they were explosion proof.

It would be unwise to turn on a motor near an open barrel of GNS. But why would you?
