Hate it when they post a bunch of bad info in an article for public consumption.
This is what keeps it illegal.
Then the comments are full of bad advice too.
Wanted to comment but you gotta use your facebook account to reply.

Love the pic though. :)
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)
The Reading Lounge AND the Rules We Live By should be compulsory reading

Cumudgeon and loving it.

mainstream public media is controlled to push a hidden agenda,
if you do the opposite of what is put on the tube you would be better off,

I guess I can see how people would believe this crap. But seriously? The one that really made me chuckle had to be the heavy metals leaching from copper. Does the author ever wonder what her water likely runs through at some point in its distribution? Our plastic police would be all over this. Let's leach some sulfur and hydrocarbons from the rubber. And the pressure thing again. I guess no one understands that pressure cannot build in a system open to atmosphere. They spout this same tripe on Discovery during that moonshiners show. And I agree, the comments just add to the confusion. Sure, throw your foreshots back in the boiler during the run. Why not? Ugh. The worst part is that people think because this magazine is a reliable source of info on other stuff, this is true too.

The first mainstream agenda is, 'Don't try this at home'. The second agenda is, 'If yer gonna try this at home, here's some bum advice that will sure make you regret yer failure to heed No 1.'

Oh Man. Some of those guys in the comments are going to kill themselves!
Returning fores to the mash? Seriously? That was like the first thing I learned about distillation when I was about 14.
