Going to pour a dram now. Will have to mark it on the calendar. Always like a reason to imbibe

Only if there are at least two vowels...
Good judgement is the result of experience.

Experience is usually the result of bad judgement..

I am not much of a Scotch drinker.
In my youth I went for a couple years on a Scotch jag but as I have gotten older (read like old as dirt or at least feel that way) I truly prefer a good aged bourbon or my aged rums.
But being this is Scotch day I yanked down the seven Scotches on the bar and went for a taste ride

Started with the Macallan 18
Just smooth, peaty but not crazy peaty, very balanced of smoke/peat. Nice sipper, absolutely no burn and very well made.
Great Scotch for a bourbon drinker :D :D :D

I tried the Oban Little Bay next.
Very smooth and nice peat but definitely not overbearing. This Scotch has the Bourbon Carmel’s and toffee.
The peat is actually delicious. Again I am not a Scotch aficionado but this is a tasty beverage. If I switched from Bourbon to Scotch this might be my drink
Sorry there will be no more taste testing as I do wake up at 5:00AM
