Home distilling video

Post by RandyMarshCT »

Check out this excellent video from a few years back on home distilling from Reason TV (yeah...I know... there's a plastic bottle in there  ). Pretty cool! Rick found it.

Rad, nice cameo

Maybe you guys have seen this before, but it was new to me.

Great video. I wish I could share it on Facebook and all, but sadly even that would bring too much attention to my hobby as I am known to be a bit "rebellious ".

Excellent treatment of the subject. We need to get that on prime time.

To which I say, no guts, no glory! Posting this video on facebook is simply an expression of opinion, not a claim to being a moonshiner.

I remember when that video was initially released... There are comments elsewhere here in the forums... Good info, for the most part...

Very nice. The tomatoe shine bit is intriguing. My tomatoes are about coming ripe now....

Good point. I just have enough attention on me due to my past...but what the hell, this hobby isn't going to get legalized by sitting around not putting out word about the reality of it.

**edit** curious about tomato shine now. Tomato technically being a fruit, would this not be a brandy then? Interested as I grow tomatoes every year, have excellent soil and sun, and always end up with more than I can even give away. Winder if we have a thread on it anywhere.

Why hadn't I seen this before, well done video. I found it interesting that the only guy that didn't want his face on the video is seen a number of times with a mustang and license plate in the background. Seems like that would be easy to track.
