My first attempt (I couldn't bring myself to spend $800 on an 'off the self' model)
Keg was rescued from a house demolition, along with the copper pipe,
Ferrule fittings from stilldragon, welding by a family member,
just waiting on PTFE gaskets (ordered silicone by mistake) and then should be on my way!

Nice looking pot still Schmu. Is that port down below for a drain?, or a ULWD electric element?

Thats perty!
Re: 15 GALLON keg pot
Thanks all,
The port on the bottom is for a 5500w element.
I am considering adding another port at the top so that I can flip it upside down and use as a (somewhat) conical fermenter (I do a lot of beer as well)
(Below) is the voltage controller, CPU fan with a built in 12v DC power supply.

Looks good! How long is your Liebig? With 5500w, you might find yourself overpowering it on stripping runs if it's too short.
Try it out and have fun! Get ready for the next build..

Liebig is 28" long, 1.25" pipe over 1/2". I've got easy/cheap access to water so can flood the thing if needed.
