I know we mostly see builds showing our stills but wanted to share this project I finally got working. Still need to clean up the wiring and plumbing but this is my rims tube set up for mashing. Its hold what ever temperature I set it for and with test I've done it can raise the temperature of a 12 gallon mash at a rate of about 2 degrees a minute.

Works by pumping wort across a heating element in a stainless pipe. Have an RTD in the tube measuring temperature and a pid turning the element on amd off.
