Chili Powder & Brown Sugar chicken
Mix chili powder and brown sugar in a ziploc bag. I put a little more chili powder than brown sugar but u can adjust to your likin. Wrap chicken pieces with half a piece a bacon and hold in place with toothpick, I use either boneless thighs or breasts cubed up but there again whatever you prefer. Drop in bag and coat real good. Put pieces on one of those pans with slots cut in it and place a catch pan under it so bacon grease drains off. If it's left to just cook in the grease it comes out nasty. Bake at 325F for bout 35-45 mins. Comes out real good!

Sounds good.
Don't think I could use that much of my chili powder. It's quite hot.

Re: Chili Powder & Brown Sugar chicken
Yeah, I use the store bought chili powder, Mr. Piss, ain't got much "hot" to it. If'n you got hot chili powder, might want to take it easy and add a bit more brown sugar. Use to work 14 & 14 and shared a trailer with an old coon ass. When he told me bout this recipe I thought that's gonna taste like s**t. Some of the best damn chicken I ever ate, even the wife and kids like it, but then again that's just my opinion & we all know opinions are like buttholes everybody's got one. Cheers!

Sounds good! I'm gonna make this but with one change....
The chicken to bacon ratio seems a little off. SIX bacon strips seems more appropriate!
No such thing as too much bacon

Re: Chili Powder & Brown Sugar chicken
I did a modified version of this yesterday
13 Chicken drumsticks
1.25 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons chile powder
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
Mix Well
Pour Brown sugar mix in a bowl and heavily coat
each leg with the mix - pat it on to make it stick.
Cook on a low heat (180) for 1.5 hours then raise
temp to 300 until desired doneness is achieved
1/2 hour before finishing sprinkle with soy sauce
Ma Coyote proclaimed them perfect!

I made your rub and put it on some nice pork chops. Grilled 'em and glazed with honey afterwards. Was great..
