It took me awhile to come up with a good all around sauce. I can this in pint jars and give it to all my friends.

ground cinnamon
1 Teaspoon
cayenne pepper
2 Teaspoon
salt
2 Teaspoon
coarsely ground black pepper
2 Cups
Coffee
2 Can
V8 Juice
11 Oz. Cans
In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix together the ketchup, brown
sugar, wine vinegar, molasses, liquid smoke and butter. Season with
garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, celery seed,
cinnamon, cayenne, salt and pepper. ~
Reduce heat to low, and simmer for up to 20 minutes. For thicker sauce,
simmer longer, and for thinner, less time is needed. Sauce can also be
thinned using a bit of water if necessary. Brush sauce onto any kind of
meat during the last 10 minutes of cooking. ~
This is the sauce that everyone seems to like. MAKES 11 PINTS~

Sounds delicious! Here's one my grandma used to make. Thinner than commercial BBQ sauces, but it is also tasty as all get out. If you don't want my recipe clogging up your thread, feel free to holler at me and I'll delete it and start a new thread.

Hello FGHawk,
Thanks for the recipe, I will give it a try. Sounds like it would be good on a pulled pork.

I balance the sugar + salt, I also balance the sweet + sour . I would triple the paprika + chile powder in a normal sauce I make. Ill give yours a try . Maybe I need a change.
