Spinach artichoke dip

Post by SoMo »

Alright guys since the forums helped me so much, I've got something to blow away any you've ever had and it's easy.
1box cream cheese
1cup mayo can be light but not salad dressing or miracle whip
2cups grated mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
1box 10oz or 1bag 1lb chopped frozen spinach defrosted all the excess water squeezed out by hand
1/4-1/2cup Parmesan dry grated or shredded
1small jar artichoke hearts drained and chopped
4-6 green onions chopped, amount by taste
Salt n pepper and garlic powder to taste a little of each
Cream the cream cheese and mayo until well blended with a stand or hand mixer
Fold in grated cheeses, then spinach and artichokes, lastly fold in the green onions.
Spread into an 8x8 or 9x13 glass baking dish
Bake at 350*f for 20-30 minutes until lightly browned and bubbly
Or microwave a few minutes at a time until hot and bubbly all the way thru
Serve with tortilla chips, sliced baguette toasted or soft.
Enjoy, this is my own recipe it will knock your socks off.

I've done something almost if not exactly like this. The only thing I do is put it in single servings like the eateries do so we won't be fighting over who took to much. BTW it is always me that takes to much cause it is great.

This recipe is one I came up with as a blend of two or three I'd seen tried and needed adjusting. It's really tasty and always requested at any family gathering.

I tried this over the weekend. Didn't last the evening. I used a whole can of hearts though (not the recomended small jar) Turned out great. Thanks
