lime citrus vodka

Postby Titus-a-fishus » Fri Mar 30, 2012 7:30 pm

Just for giggles I tried this recipe using my whitedog and fresh green limes.

It should work with any citrus.

Zest 4 or 5 medium sized green limes.
Add to a litre of 40% whitedog or vodka and leave for about two hours

Strain after the two hours and bottle
Add some sugar water to taste..... I used a teaspoon and a half per litre.

With the citrus oils in the skin it tastes fantastic and the colour is a bright green.

Drink with ice and water.

If too many limes are used the vodka will cloud when water is added.

We haven't got the money so now we have to think
Build it, don't buy it
