For those who enjoy a bit of kick or enjoy hot pepper jelly here is my apple pie recipe.
1 gallon neutral spirits
1 1/4 gallon apple juice
4 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons nutmeg
4 tablespoons crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons grated ginger
Mix apple juice and spices in a large pot boil and reduce to one gallon. Let cool to room temp strain and add neutral spirits mix and mason jar up. It packs a punch of good flavors and is some thing a bit different for the taste buds to enjoy I also like adding a fresh cayenne pepper mashed with a rolling pin to each jar for a bit of extra kick if you feel so inclined.
