Ok, this may sound wierd, but is friggin awesome. This recipe gets full credit to my distilling partner as he ran to the store for flour, and came back with fruit...
Ingredients:
Half mason jar of any size of shine
Canned peaches in syrup
Canned pineapples(rings)
Water
How to: mix fruit in bowl of adequate capacity. Mix both fruits and juices into the bowl together. take one half jar of moonshine and add 1 pneapple ring/2-4 peach wedges per pint.(2rings/4-8 wedges per quart). Add 1/4 cup of the juice mix per pint(1/2 cup per quart). Top off with either shine or water, depending on desired strength. Either let set and age, or drink immediately.
My personal findings: 1pint jar: 2 peach wedges, 1 ring, 1/4cup juice, half jar shine, and about 100 ml added shine at end= 40ish%/90 ish proof. Had a slight difference between jars as fruit size differed. Do adjust accordingly to fit your taste. To get more flavor an less proof, add more juice in 1tbsp increments.
