Real Apple Pie Moonshine

Post by Ghostpepperman »

Here is a recipe I found online and since lost the URL address.

1 fresh Granny Smith apple
1/2 to 1 cup brown sugar (Dark brown sugar works best)
3-5 Cinnamon sticks.
1 half gallon of 80-100 proof Moonshine
Half gallon mason jar.

Slice and core the Apple...add to the Jar.
Add the cinnamon sticks and brown sugar.
Fill the jar to the brim with Moonshine.
Seal the lid , shake, and let age at least 1 month.

I shake the jar once a week and the color is really beautiful.
You can then eat the apple as you drink the shine...this comes from a man who knows how to make "His Apple Pie"
Everyone I had try it out says that it's really strong but very very good.
Once you try it you wont go back to boiling apple cider and apple juice with cinnamon sticks.
