Duplais and de Brevans

Post by Aerea »

Duplais' work is a very comprehensive text on the subject of distillation in France around the mid 1850s (first edition) to the turn of the century.

J. de Brevan's Manufacture is another good read for someone who has a historical fascination with distillation.

Both texts can be downloaded for free at the abovementioned site.

Enjoy.

:)

So just for the record, here is Duplais (1855 and 1876) courtesty of Google books:

https://books.google.com/books?id=tKM5AQAAIAAJ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Here is the English translation, but be aware there are errors in it:

https://books.google.com/books?id=li8tAAAAYAAJ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Here is de Brevans:

Don't think there's any English translation for this one. Or a German translation either.
