Just got home and lost a wash

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Just got home and lost a wash

Postby rubber duck » Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:38 pm

Well I just got home and checked on my 30 gallon fermentor full of rum wash. Its empty only 5 gallons or so left in the bottom. Looks like a stray bullet hit it glad it was just a stupid fermentor. This just kinda pisses me off and I can't even bitch about it except on this forum. Any way thats how my weekends getting started now I have plenty of time to go fishing.

SHIT!!!! What an amazing story.

On the other hand, your neighbour may kick the kids in the arse and give you some of his likker. :)

rubber duck some times being carefull just isn't enough. i was in physical therapy years ago and met a banker getting therapy for a hand injury. he was still hunting elk just sitting on the side of a mountain. he said he heard nothing, just quiet woods and a bullet went through his hand from the thumb to the little finger. it ruined his hand. wrong place wrong time. the police investigator determined his rifle was unfired. cob

It is not about legalising hobby stilling, but craft stilling, ie small scale commercial distilleries. It is about reducing the red tape to get a proper licence. Not directly relevant to our cause, I'm afraid.
