Are you a buncher or a folder?

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Are you a buncher or a folder?

Post by Red Rim »

People fit into two categories, bunchers or folders.

I am a buncher, what are you?
There is no such thing as a stupid question....... Unless you didn't research it first.

What happens when it unbunches mid wipe? That would be pretty shitty.

Charmin ultra strong... Four squares... Folded so they all lay flat on top of each other... More than adequate, but I'm kinda OCD like that. I'm also a stander, not a sitter. Better leverage, and a cleaner wipe...

I'm not a folder! I'm a high functioning buncher.
No, officer, I wasn't distilling alcohol! It was probably that guy!

Funny thing is your answer to this question typically gives us an overview as to how you navigate life.
Folders are super organized, have things planned out way in advance, document everything they do, and keep the rest of us headed in the right direction. Folder's, deal with things as they come up, shoot from the hip, but still get it done.

Rad I knew you would be a folder.
I also predict that Jimbo, T_pee and Bear river are folders as well.

I would put money on Flatwoods, and Truckinbutch being bunchers.

The level of thought that you put into this, makes you an ultra folder! I bet you know where you are going to be on this date next year and how much money you must save to make that happen!

Studies show those who squat can get the job done in half the time as a "sitter". Also, they tend to have drastically less of a chance of incurring hemorrhoids.

LOL. I was just referring to the wiping aspect, of the activity. Most of the time when I'm "sitting", I'm reading or making a post on here.

You would think... But way-off. When it comes to a task I can finish quickly, I'm super OCD. The other 90% of my life, my ADHD is usually ruler supreme. That's why I'm glad my wife is good with the finances.

Fail. Buncher all the way. Spontaneous shoot from the hip type problem solver, with an engineering bent. I plan out solutions fairly carefully, but always in my head, rarely on paper. Only thing I write down is recipes as Im cooking, so I have a record of what works and what not so much, life's too short to repeat mistakes. Electrical engineer and musician, all kinds of f*cked up I guess. Like double fisting a coffee and tall bourbon (I do). Figure if Keith Richards can shoot speedballs for decades and still be here (heroin and cocaine), my coffee and bourbons prolly dont hurt much.

The shed I posted recently was stick built on the fly, no plans. 1 scrap of paper where I sketched out the rafter cuts, and laid out the floor and roof so I knew how much plywood to buy. http://homedistiller.org/forum/viewtopi ... 0#p7219757

T-Pee is conspicuously absent. This topic is right up his... alley.

Coyote, I am working, just ducking out of the rain every now and then. BTW, what is up with rain in Oregon in July? It never rains from the 4 of July until late October. One more thing, I don't live around Bend.

Woodshed, you are not the first funcher I have met.

Jimbo, guess I called that wrong. Most engineers are folders. That's what I get for stereotyping people. I have built large structures from a an idea or number and just went with it.

I came into this world as a folder, but years of contracting have wrecked me. Schedules are meant to be broken and nothing goes as planned, so I just wad it up and go with it.

Wow, how did I get here? One minute I'm trying to learn how to properly use freshly malted corn, and the next I'm declaring myself a crouching folder thrice-wiper. Can't imagine how bunchers ever feel any sense of security.

Nuther stereotyper. Im ex miltary and aint no stinkin folder.

When you bunch you make a clump, and pinch the edges only, making very efficient use of the toilet paper, crammed where it matters. I dont understand how folders make efficient use of the paper, arent your fingers a millimeter from smearage, and you have big white wings unused hanging out the sides of the crack of your ass?
