My real addiction is waterfowling!!!! I had to paddle my ass off to get this guy!!!! Another "poor mans safari"!
I paddled about 2-3 miles out to get it, but worth it! Now I have both eiders!!! Eventually he'll be on the wall next to this guy:
I'm pretty proud that I got both from a kayak!

That takes a good bit of talent to shoot from a kayak. I would be afraid of dropping my gun. Did you get them on the water or on the wing?
Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen. John Steinbeck

Wing. But it doesn't matter. I didn't use decoys for these. You still have to stalk close enough to hit them hard with steel shot. If they take off or not does not matter.

I didn't know you had to use steel shot there, that makes it a good bit harder to take them down.

Or you can pay $2.50 a shell for Remington HeavyShot. I hunt Canada geese and to a lesser extent, duck. I have also taken Swan in North Carolina where it is legal.Beerswimmer wrote:Wing. You still have to stalk close enough to hit them hard with steel shot.
