Little or nothing to do with distillation.

SOUR MASH BOURBON WHISKEY

Not opened stone bottle.

This bottle off whisky is bottled on the 20 of march 1975 ABV 52,4% in 530 numberd stone bottles, each containing 1 ltr. out off 5 barrels of blended, washed ashore on a stormy night in the night of 29 & 30 november 1969.

orriginal add in dutch: http://www.koopplein.nl/ameland/diverse ... -1963.html

Will this be something to spent my money add?

Taste it first, otherwise it's gambling. 'Don't bet more than you can afford to lose'.

I'm always skeptical when buying vintage booze. If it's from a reputable dealer that I can find latter on then I'll buy it. Off the internet no way no how.

the barrels washed ashore, it's bottled on the island.

On my island people tend to strawn the beach after a storm, they do this for centuries (it's called "jutten"). In the earlie days they send fals lightsignals so ships will be destroyed on the banks, and the goods will be washed ashore. It was a sort of income.

This barrels of whiskey are washed ashore in 1969, found by "jutters" who botteled it in stone bottles in 1975. Now there are a few avaible, and one of these chaps is selling the last bottles. Why? Maybe because they taste bad? I don't know. I'll mail him what price he wants, but I'll remind that it's a blend from unknown origin. I'll not pay to much for it.

I think it must be a good tasting thing, cause the seller decided not to sell it anymore! :(
