Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Help in naming that Bourbon

Postby Hillbilly Rebel » Sat Feb 11, 2006 7:02 pm

Several years ago I read on the internet about a bourbon that I can't remember the name of. What I do remember is that it was aged 20 years in barrels that formerly held sherry. It was sold in Kentucky through the Liquor Barn. When I went there it was priced well over $100.00 per fifth and a couple of years later, it was priced over $200.00 per fifth. Now, I can't remember the name or how to find it again on the web. Is there anyone out there that knows what brand I am trying to remember and if so, is it still bottled?

Was it A.H. Hirsch Reserve, Pappy Van Winkle's, or Classic Cask maybe??
Never follow good whiskey with water, unless you're out of good whiskey!!!

I don't think so. One of the other members of the forum had posted a list of bourbons in another thread. By looking over that list and doing some web search, I think it was Distiller's Masterpiece.
