Look around and wonder at how fortunate we all are on this day.

We started the day with apple cider donuts drizzled with homemade dulce de leche sauce.

Now, it's time to set up the fryer for some buttermilk corn fritters, then in goes the turkey. (Wonder what it would taste like with a little bourbon injected into one of the breasts?)

Can't be a bad thing. And a little rum in the pumpkin pie, too.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I am cooking a Turkey, Goose and Duck. A dozen or so will be here for dinner. Pretty much got everything done. Turkey went in to the computer controlled oven in my shop at 9 AM. The Goose is done. The duck just went in, rolls are rising, cranberry relish done, bread stuffing is cooking in my house oven and…I just poured of glass of UJ on the rocks.

It doesn’t get any better. My best to you all. I hope you have a great day.
