Moonshine run.

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Moonshine run.

Postby Prairiepiss » Sat Apr 07, 2012 9:46 pm

I just loaded up my truck and made a moonshine to the new house. I didn't want the new neighbors seeing me carrying all that crap into the house. God I hate moving. Got two more trailer loads to go. I will be so glad to get it done. Hell we still have a crap load to finish in the house. But we got to be out of this place tommaro.

PP, moving is a royal pain in the ass. I retired 2 years ago and should have left everything behind but my hunting gear and hand tools and then started anew. We have 86 acres on the mountain to hike, hunt & 'shine.

The simple life is a good thang.

Good luck to ya Mr. P. Bout 6 years ago, I had a physical with our new doctor. As part of the exam, she asked me:

Have you recently been married/divorced?

Is your spouse currently pregnant or recently given birth?

Have you recently taken out a mortgage/large loan?

Have you moved recently?

Have you recently changed jobs?

The answer to all of the questions was yes! She looked at me dumbfounded and said, "are you SURE you're alright???"

Ya left two out
Have you recently started a business?

Has there recently been a death of a close family member?

Had a similar set of questions asked of me many years ago.
They rated the stress levels on me and the safe/acceptable level was 110 points
Each one of the above including the ones you've already mentioned giving varying points.

I maxed out at 320
Don't want to try that crap again

Good luck Mr. P.

We've needed to move for a while from where we're at but can't seem to muster up the intestinal fortitude to begin the process. We just hover above the abyss and put off what must happen. It's a little more complicated atm, but still, it must happen soon-ish.

Before i got married I never had more possessions then I could fit into two bags. Now I have a shop full of crap, dishes, furniture, and a lawn mower, yes a @#%*&# lawn mower.

If I have it my way the next time I move will be the last and I just want to drop a match and leave.
