So i just read on MSNBC about how kids are now distilling Hand sanitizer so they can get drunk.

Applaud the effort

But I still think that they are to stupid for their own good

Just goes to show what happens when there is no supervision or discipline in their up bring, but all this shit keeps going on, and we as adults in the Great US of A will need a precription for asprin some day,and they will know excatly the type,amount of any meds or things that are suppose to help us live a better life! It will all go the way of the cold meds they can no longer keep on the shelfs because of the meth heads. Not excluding using the word Distilling.

It's a can of worms, I know, but no one in Europe is gettin' hammered on soap. Relax a bit and let the kids have a beer or glass of wine with dinner and they won't be curious enough to mess with stuff that's much worse for them on the long term.

My parents were always sensible about drinking and I could always have a drink a home. So, when my high school friends were sneaking around drinking, I didn't get the big deal.

they are not distilling hand sanitizer! it is being consumed as is from the bottle @ 60% abv. or 120 proof.

they are not distilling hand sanitizer! it is being consumed as is from the bottle @ 60% abv. or 120 proof.

Some are just chugging the hand sanitizer right out the bottle. But others are using salt to extract the Ethanol out of the hand sanitizer, and then drinking only the ethanol. That is how they are getting it above 60% ABV
