Something counter intuitive and yet cosmically correct about being off topic on one's own off topic thread......

LOL. I would have to be really drunk to have enough courage to scold Tater.
Is that why they call it “Liquid courage”?

I'm cornfused! So are you saying you were not drunk yet? And was working on it. Or that you were drunk and you posted anyway? Just to say you wouldn't post?Tater wrote:Dont think its a good idea so I wont
Sometimes I wish some around here would follow this rule. Some it doesn't even take being drunk. And they shouldn't be posting.

Two rules I follow, never drive or post when drunk
But if you can do either with success, whats the prob?
Oh, and I never knit when i'm drunk. But I don't do it sober, either.

O Tam! had'st thou but been sae wise
As ta'en thy ain wife Kate's advice!
She tauld thee weel thou was a skellum
A blethering, blustering, drunken blellum
That frae November till October
Ae market-day thou was nae sober
That ilka melder wi' the miller
Thou sat as Lang as thou had siller
That ev'ry naig was ca'd a shoe on
The smith and thee gat roaring fou on
That at the Lord's house, even on Sunday
Thou drank wi' Kirkton Jean till Monday
She prophesied, that, late or soon
Thou would be found deep drown'd in Doon
Or catch'd wi' warlocks in the mirk
By Alloway's auld, haunted kirk

You know it was a good batch when the first thing you click on in the morning is the " View your posts" line, to see what you wrote, all the while hoping like hell you didn't write a thing!
Tell me you haven't done that. Go ahead.. Tell me.

What's bad is when you vaguely remember the obnoxious crap you posted and in the morning you try to go back and delete only to discover that it's way to late.
Ya drunk posting is a big no no for guys like Mash Rookie, Blanik, and I.

Re: Posting when drunk
Too funny;
My posts always seem to be so well written and eloquent, then the next morning when I read my posts I realize I might have been a little over the top.
Bull.

Re: Posting when drunk
Over the top? Who? What? Me? LOL. I try to write posts that are well thought out and articulate. Unfortunately I dont think so good when drinking and sure as hell cant talk right either.
Yup, guilty as charged. Can I apologize to everybody now for next months posts? I really didnt mean it guys. You know I luv ya.
Please let the delete button still work…. a posting hangover is when you would trade those stupid words for a headache.
