Spoke with dunder a while ago .He is doing fine for a man in his later 80s.however his eye site is preventing him from enjoying our company on HD.I told him how missed he was and he sent his best to one and all.

Re: dunder
Tater, didn't realize he was that old - pretty sharp with knowledge for a man that age. Of course there's 100 year old people that are sharper than some in their sixties. He's a livin' legend to most of us here. I wish him well.Tater wrote:Spoke with dunder a while ago .He is doing fine for a man in his later 80s.however his eye site is preventing him from enjoying our company on HD.I told him how missed he was and he sent his best to one and all.

Re: dunder
I must admit I've had far better than 20/20 vision my entire life the day I hit 33 I noticed trees started to look diffrent I'm now 36 and am a young buck by some peoples standards but I noticed I can no longer see each blade of grass blowing in the wind and I seam to hurt more and more every day when I wake up.so I find myself with a newfound appreciation of my elders on a daily basis.I got my eyes tested yesterday and was told I have 20/20 vision wth this is considered perfect vision?I must say the last few years have been one hell of a wake up call and my appreciation for my elders has grown exponentially.if dunder is truely that old all I can say is god bless him I hope I am close to being as lucid and informative as him at half his age.

Re: dunder
Don't know how I missed this post because I have been thinking about starting a thread just to see where and how he was doing. Thanks GA for starting what everyone was thinking. You 2 gentlemen have given as much to this site as anyone. It honestly brings a tear to my eye to think that one of you is unable to participate any longer. I raise a glass to you dunder and hope that you can somehow get back here and set us straight.

If all that's keepin him from bein on here is eyesight, wonder if he knows about those screen magnifying things. Don't know him at all, but if he can't get one, i'd be happy to get one and send it to or through somebody for him. Any of the "ol boys" who help us out so much i feel indebted to and wouldn't mind giving back where i can.

Re: dunder
Since I've been gone. There are a few members that have been in the back of my mind. Dunder was high on that list. I am glad to see at least an update came through while I was gone. I was hoping to hear more. But I'm am glad to read this.
Hope we get another update soon. Maybe Tater can see what he can do?

Re: dunder
Sorry for what might be a newbie question .. but I searched for a user named dunder so I could read these posts, but what I found can't be what you're talking about here. Can someone enlighten me on how to find his posts?S-Cackalacky wrote:Thanks for the update Tater. He's probably the most knowledgeable stiller that ever crossed the threshold of the forums.

Re: dunder
Thanks for the link. I see the problem is that I only searched for a user named "dunder" since that's what he was referred to throughout this thread, so I didn't know the correct spelling of his name.
