I sent him a b'day msg on the day and it's still in my outbox. Don't you have a "IRL" way of reaching out, Tater?

I know Sam seldomly reads his PM's. And I also know he usually distills in the winter ... means he should be in by now, right?

Has anyone heard anything from Samahon? I am hoping he is just visiting his wife's family in the old country and is out of reach with the net. It has been too long for my feeble old memory to upload, but the best I can recall she was from some part of the old Soviet block. I think I remember his handle, Samahon, is Russian for moon shine.

My deer camp in the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia is out of touch with AT&T about 90% of the time and it is not much more than 100 miles from the Washington DC beltway. I pray he is well..............Just Sayin'

Ukraine if I am not mistaken! Yes, he took his vodka over there, I remember. But this long? He should be back in the air by now ...

ppl can get worried perty easy, on an anon forum like this, when others that are 'FULL' time, take a vacation. Few of us are going to treat HD like a damn FB page, and tell about every 15 minutes of our day (like how we cooked a lasagna dinner, and wiped our ass with only 5 squares, damn, FB is rot!).

I do worry a bit about Sam, but anyone can need a vacation, even from HD. I do hope he is just on vac, and busy, away from computer. This is just a hobby forum, where we should come WHEN we have spare time, to be able to share and enjoy each others company. There are a lot of times in life, where there really is not any spare time. We will see sam soon enough, hopefully.

Has anyone had any word from our brother Samahon? I am sure you all miss his posts as much as I do.
Sam, if you are out there, know that your huge family of brothers ( and several sisters) miss you greatly! I know life is filled, but if time permits, please let us know if you are well. Thank you for all you have taught me and so many others. We love you, Man, and we are in your debt.

His illustrations help me soooooo much when I was just starting out. Truley great work. And without sam's thread on how to upload pics I would still be trying to figure out how to resize.
