who have you friended but haven't seen lately?

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

who have you friended but haven't seen lately?

Post by ga flatwoods »

Tonight I had the pleasue of talking to F6Hawk! He had not been around and I noticed in my friend list that I had not seen him so I sent him an e-mail. He sent one back and we ended up talking on the tele. Nice guy. Also sent Janitor one a few days ago saying screw you stay gone but he was back in the koolaid thread anyway! Rumplestilskin is working his ass off as is Richard7. Stringbender wont answer his phone to receivea bottle I was planning to hand deliver. Jimbo is freezing his ass off again and Truckinbutch is just being Truckinbutch. Reach out to some of you old friends and say "Hey, where you been?"
No one ever just preemptively sends me anything!

Flatwoods! How the hell have you been?!?

If you didn't live so damn far away, I would drop what I was doing and bring you a bottle!
There is no such thing as a stupid question....... Unless you didn't research it first.

Interesting as I have been thinking about members that haven't posted here in a while. I have never used the friend or foe function but went back and searched members that haven't posted in a while but looked to see the last time they logged on to the forum. Missing some of the members that made this forum so great but also enjoying the ones that are here and keeping it going strong!

There are probably too many to name, but Dnderhead and Mash Rookie come to mind. Both aren't posting - not because they don't want to. Dnderhead is a walking encyclopedia of all things distilling and Mash Rookie is builder extraordinaire. I was lucky enough to sign up here before they left.

Haven't met anyone from the boards yet. Friendless... Red Rim is good people, we've traded a few messages. I am looking forward to meeting him some time after we move back to the coast on the 1st of Nov, along with any other members that are available. My family likes to ride the train to Oregon for day trips, which would present a good opportunity to visit him.

I'm waiting for Kelsey Leaverenz who is managing the next proof event in Seattle to E-Mail the date once it is chosen, so the PNW summer meeting can get finalized. It will be nice getting to know some of the other members, and place real people behind the handles.

Your in. I'll be sending a PM to you and the other members who have shown interest, then update the original thread with information as soon as it becomes available.

You guys have convinced me to reach out and say " Hi" to AZ Framer. We met once when i was
in the area. Wife and i just can't get there. Now she has a new job, so time off can't really
be taken. He did pm me with a new phone number so i better call.
Thanks for the motivation. TPK

Well Hello All!! I have been off the boards for quite a while myself, been busy around the homestead with little time to do much of anything else. I have a couple of bottles with Bushmans name on them but we just haven't hooked up. We'll hook up some time over the winter when he comes to the Canal, maybe we can tip one together. OMD
