Which add-on? Are you using a TVGuide, PVR client, or video add-on?

Live TV has worked great with several apps over the years, but lately the best options have become unavailable (see my post above) Im gonna make lunch, put together a BW wash, then I'll spend a couple hours investigating which live TV options are the most viable at this point in time. If it doesn't take me all day, I'll start the writeup for gamers.

No worries, I'll find something that works for you guys and gals regarding live TV (hopefully with a guide). :egeek:

Also would like to see people post their favorite add-ons they have found. There is a sea of them out there, so word of mouth is the best way to spread the goodens.

Oops...no add-on's....just what you posted earlier...fusion. Didn't know what else I needed....poked around a little to try and find a good source to read up on it. When I saw PVR client....I assumed just needed that if you wanted DVR functionality.

Looking forward to your guide....live TV + Movies & shows....would definitely = no more Dish.

Thanks again..

For movies and shows I recommend Genesis, which getting it and configuring it is covered in the OP.

The only two things I've sluffed on so far is live TV, and games which I will be getting into today.

Oh and if you find or use DVR functionality on copyrighted material, you are breaking the law. So please, don't do it. There is no need for it anyways when you can stream any show or movie whenever you want. Plus it saves you from the wear and tear on your storage devices. Downloading movies and shows in 2015 is just silly.

+1 on Genesis, I also use Navi X.

For a web-based HD movie streaming site I use yify.tv

For streaming tv series "box-sets" I use coke and popcorn.

Any luck on the live TV stuff Bear? I had good results watching movies and TV shows last night on Genesis. Still playing around with everything....I guess the biggest thing I'd be missing is live sports.

Need to see how easy it is to locate PPV's on here....maybe like the UFC fights :)

Get Sports Devil that addon rocks sports wise

Entertainment Hub for tv and movies

Genesis for tv and movies

Once click watch for tv

Project Free Tv for TV

navi x for most anything

phoenix is a new one that seems to be very good

TED for all the Ted Talks

icefilms

Cliq

veetle

With these you will not really need much of anything else or you really don't need to watch it... I didn't include Porn Links find them yourself :econfused:

LOL on the porn links :)

Really liking Genesis...everything I've tried has been pretty good quality and the shows were alot more recent than I first though. Also played with Project Free TV tonight and it also worked well for me. I'll check out the sports devil...had that on my list but didn't show up on the addon installer search so will have to google it.

I agree...I have pretty much everything I need right now. Just need to learn some of the features....like adding shows to my home folder or something so I don't have to keep looking for them.

Giving myself the rest of the weekend to practice and snoop around...then do a 2 week trial. If it works like I suspect....bye bye Dish.

downloaded and installed as per the instructions in the OP. its awesome! My only issue is slow buffer times. Is there a way to help with this? Im using Windows 7 on a desltop connected wirelessly to the network(im guessing this is the problem). It never has a problem streaming netflix or hulu or anything, so it has me confused.

Edit: I tried a different stream link and the buffering was instant!

Thanks again!

Quick question. The thumbnails at the bottom of videos (for icefilms, genesis, 1channel, project free TV have disappeared. They are all there, just not the thumbnails. So nothing highlights. I have to guess now where I am clicking. How do I fix that?

Edit: figured it out. Just had to change add on short cuts then change them back. Now they are all showing the actual thumbnail again

This is for you: http://www.tvaddons.ag/factory-restore-kodi/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

Make sure once your Kodi experience is stable to make a backup. No on ever said "I wish I didn't make that backup"

I was going to post a TV guide tutorial, but I think these 3 YouTube videos will be much easier for y'all to follow along without messing up. Plus the work is already done, so, no point in me rehashing it.

If you have problems post in their pages, here, or PM me and I will try to help you. (Links below) They all work for me, and should work amazing for you... Combined with Fully Silenced' suggested add-ons and you are missing absolutely nothing. Except porn, your gonna have to help yourself with that one.

Don't forget to look into the different skin add-ons and their settings so you can adjust the GUI to your preferences. It's all there.

Enjoy! Retro emulator tutorials are on the way.

Damn! I've been so busy lately it seems I've missed an awful lot of things. I don't understand what happened and can't find anything offensive, at least not excessively, after all it is an adults only forum. If you need anything Bearriver I'm just down the road, just holler.

Yah, get back hurrrr. Were all adults. Life goes on, strap on those big girl kilt and keep doing something you like. Didnt harm anybody. No point in letting something like this get to you or sacrifice your contribution to the community.

Cause doing this is probably going to cause HD more harm than if you post.

Anybody heard of popcorn time?

Free movies, basically netflix with better movies and no charge.

Popcorn-time.se

Do what I did and google it and read all about it first, then proceed if you want to.
Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!
