Roughly 18 inches at our house. I'm an inside dawg so it's going to take a few cups of coffee to get me motivated to start the 4 wheeler and clean around the house. I put chains on a set of wheels and tires that a friend had given me and was surprised how well it goes.

Looking for a few good men !!!!

Put the dog out to piss this morning. He jumped out the door and buried his nuts and pecker in the snow. I felt sorry for him.

Poor dogs have it rough. Our black lab can't get enough water, mud and snow and we gotta drag him back into the house. The big yellow lab comes right back and curls up on our bed with all his stuffed animals.

Think I'm gonna make snow vodka.

100% oats with enzymes and melted snow.

Close to 30 inches on the deck. 4 wheeler did great with the chains yesterday but 30 inches of wet stuff today is above its pay grade. It's Massey Ferguson time !!! 8)

6 PM on the corner of PA, Delaware and Maryland, 6+ hours of this storm to go. It's still very light and fluffy so we are getting very deep drifts, five foot on my deck! total so far 24 + inches. Wish I was in Taupo! Kiwi

It's almost down to 50 degrees in SW Florida. Got on a long sleeve shirt and building a fire on the porch. Might have to turn the heat on tonite.

Hope nobody calls 911 because if they do it's gonna be helicopter time if there's a place to land. State hasn't been through yet and they're usually here in two days or so. Pretty good guys on the plow. Only one grader and many miles of dirt road.

Tree fell on my neighbor lady during the last big storm and broke her back but she was a real trooper till they could get to her.

Hey, Just seen my old thread from last year! I'm a 13hr drive from home and have heard they had two storms since I left. Kids have been running the snowblower so apparently they are still mobile. One more week and I fly home next Sat night.
That said, lots of snow here in Quebec, cold too, -26 with the wind chill.

I'll be doing the real complaining once I get home and see they've been doing the minimum amount required. (not blowing off the deck by the pool etc)

In the meantime, winter still sucks, where's the damn palm tree's!

My back hurts from shoveling a narrow walk to the cars. We got somewhere between 3 and 4 feet, with the drifts it's hard to tell. There's over 4 feet on my deck, hard to see the cars at all before we dug them out. I'm always happy to have a few snow days to stay in and relax. I'm gonna run an all feints tomorrow, now that the winds are gone and I'm confident we won't lose power.

That last storm, the kids living in the next town over from us, were getting $40 a PARKING SPACE! to shovel people out. All white collar workers, but still...$40. My oldest made two hundred bucks in 45 minutes. Then went home to tie one on, cause it was cold baby! !

Was supposed to be on a winter Ex this weekend but the freezing rain/pellets/snow and 50-70km/h winds put the risk factor a little high. A bunch of reservist working all day then leaving the armouries in 10ton trucks at 9pm and showing up around midnight in the middle of nowhere....yeah that has accidents etc written all over it. So, as Ops WO I sent a recommendation to the CO that we train in the armoury this weekend instead. He agreed, so I said all the reg force (my day staff) shouldn't come in on the weekend as the reserves need the training not us...and he agreed! So instead of sleeping in a 5 man tent in -11 weather then humping a toboggan full of kit all over, I'm home on the computer drinking my 3 year old AG cracked barley whisky! To make it even better, since I was supposed to be gone for the weekend, the wife took the youngest one to the cottage and my oldest just took off to friends for the evening so I'm all alone. I think I'll crank up the soggy bottom boys and join in with the fiddle after a few more pulls!
