Most are arrogant ...The King, Kyle and Kurt Busch the worst ..A young Jeff Gordon the worst ..I've seen Dale Jr Run from fans ..
Kevin Harvick pulled up to the souvenir hauler after the Busch race on Sat at Rockingham ..I was the only person there, and the last motorhome in the daily RV parking field ..He gave me hats, about 4 of em, and signed em all ..Bought some diecast and signed them to ..Still in his Reese's uniform ..Pulled up on a golfcart and was very nice and down to earth ..
Just my experience.

Dale Jr wins TALLADEGA!!
Excellent crowd, excellent race ...Track looked sold out ..They said the infield rv spots was sold out.
Earnhardt win at Talladega seems like old times.

Great race. Jimmy took second and is already locked into the chase. Had multiple laps he could have taken Jr out but JJ is too classy for that. Might as well let Jr. win one as a teammate so he can make the chase as well. Very little chance of Jr. winning a championship so why not.
JJ could have easily pulled a Sr. move on him and wrecked him comin out of turn three or four and won the race.
JJ has a lock on the chase so it would not benefit him to do so.

No respect for Sr. in this house as you can see. IMO Sr. was a punk who took a lot of cheap blows at people to make a name for himself. Jr. did run a good race though.

Wood I'll copy the "no respect sor senior" he was a punk.

But on a more happy note, yet ANOTHER female racer does good in dragracing. 20 year old girl win the champion contest.

Other than the long delay a good race tonight. For the last 20 laps Jimmy was cutting the lead down by 2/10th of a second or more.
Obvious call for Chad Knaus to have Jimmy stay out. Sure JJ had a lot to say about that as well.

Jones certainly got a lesson tonight in what it's like to race with the big boys and girl. The kid certainly showed he has the stuff though.
When Harvick slid up in front of him and JJ was on a rail behind it soon became a case of "welcome to the big leagues".
That's a lot of oh shit for an 18 year old stuck between two champions.

If this kid keeps a ride he could very well be a force in a year or two.

Good race ..Harvick almost got that horseshoe ..Super fast track.
Things have changed so much from back when Sr started (and finished)..No money when Sr started.
Johnson been spoon fed top everything since he was groomed into who he is, that to me is a punk ..
Sr was a man and had to take what he got to just survive ..Started with nothing and contributed so much to the sport and his hometown and so many charities nobody knows about, because he wanted it that way ...There's a tradition of Earnhardts in a few race shops ..Jj meanwhile contributes little other than gracing us with his fake presence ..Sr wasn't a fake, and neither is Harvick ..Both got thrown to the wolves from the beginning, only to rise to the top their way ..The big, high sponsorship and contracts came Because of Dale Sr ..Just like the souvenir business and Chase Authentics ..Oh, and Action Collectables ..Heck there wouldn't be any nascar diecast if it weren't for Sr ...His legacy and profitability will last forever ..Not so for any of the rest . :D

Jimmie was hand picked by a legend of the sport to be thenext superstar. That's because Gordon knew the talent when he saw it.
JJ's record in the sport has proven that talent since his rookie year. When you are the best you get the best. Only 4 races to pass Earnhardt on the all time win list.

My statement about Earnhardt is solely directed to his style of racing. I did not care for it. And he punked a lot of people to get wins.

I support Harvick. I mentioned I had heard he was not a very nice person and then you stated otherwise. I never called him a punk.

What really excites me is the level of competition this year and to see true highly competitive rivalries forming. So many fast cars now and loads of talent behind the wheels. Great season of racing so far

Its all good ..Thats the way its supposed to be...One of the things that people love about the sport ..
They just don't give wins away, you have to perform. Nobody can deny JJ's talent, he earned those wins On the track...This year (and last),I've noticed a positive swing in nascar ..Good, fast racing, with rivalries, track records, and just good racing no matter who wins.
Got boring and car changes and geometries got confusing ..I'm up on the chip during races now  .

Truex has been really impressive this year. Nice to see a Colorado based team do well. And that Larson kid is driving his ass off.

Two weeks in Charlotte comin up. Always great racing in the homeland.

I watched Truex's first ever outing at a Richmond Busch race ..An orange and white unsponsored #81 Jr Motorsport car ..I'm thinkn the tranny broke ..Wow, thats been a while ..
I love a one car operation..Especially when they're as competitive as multi teams ops ..
The first time I watched Larson on tv, I said to myself, thats my next driver when Kevin retires.
Kid is bad fast.

Rowdy for sure can have an impact and has been fast!
Luck to all. Without points but a lot of cash it is wide open.
Only strategy that means anything tonight is just this race.
Let's roll. Really fast.

Harvick was right there. I was hoping for harder racing. Seemed like some phoned it in(including JJ). Focused on the big picture I guess.
Too bad because Harvick was bringin his full game. And will next weekend as well. 600 next week. Harvick rules as the closer.
1 1/2 mile track though. Who has ruled those tracks this year? I see JJ rollin into victory lane next weekend.

Yea, it seemed like if you're not in the position to win, saving the equipment was the plan ..Surprised that there weren't any big crashes at those speeds with a million at stake.
Next week will undoubtedly be a Johnson vs. Harvick all day ordeal ..
I can't wait.

Kurt Busch wins rain shortened Michigan Speedway race ..
Thought Harvick would win it there for a minute ..That 78 car is gonna be tough all year I think ..
Good race overall ..Rain delays actually gave me a chance to get a couple of home chores done ..
2 weeks and road racing in Cali ...I used to not like the coarse racing, but now that I'm older, I like em ...Plenty of good misshaps and crashes .
