Thanks! Enjoying a day off with the family. We'll go karting later on and do some more stuff together.

I must be the luckiest guy on earth! This was my best birthday ever! The family organized a kind of prison break re-enactment to start the afternoon with. Quite the competitive bunch, I am happy to report that Team Odin had the best score of the day. After that? Karting. With my daughters chasing me around the circuit as if I were game. Gladly, I still finished first, but Regina, Victoria, and Sylvie-Anne came very close behind. My wife took a more leasurely pace ...

After "activities" were over, we went to La Cubanita, a Cuban restaurant. Dinner with tapas. And birthday presents! Regina started. She gave me a scientific book on drug abuse in the second world war. Seems like everybody was pretty much doped up - orders from higher hand. My sun in law came with Shiraz wine and 85% pure chocolate. He's a stayer, I presume. Youngest daughter gave me the obligatory socks and underware (my normal "to complain about" gifts), but also some cologne and a great collage of pictures on us: her and me in pictures from when she was born till now. Oldest daughter Vic gave me self knitted socks. Wow, didn't know she could knit! And a car bumper sticker saying "This car runs on Gin!" My son gave me a 3 hour drifting course. We'll do that together in a special sort of BMW as I understand it. And the mss? A long weekend to Sevilla in Spain together in a few weeks.

I must be the luckiest bastard in the world, right?

Having a late night cigar and beer and of to bed after that.

Regards, Odin.

I think Veronika will be referee next time we go karting, Bushman! She utterly did not enjoy herself!

Here's a picture of a bumper sticker my daughter made for me ...

If I had that bumper sticker on my car I would think the police would be more likely to pull me over :D

Thanks all! I'm still around . . . not much time for posting these days, but still visiting and gaining knowledge. Hopefully life slows a bit shortly and I can get to contributing more.

Happy Birthday to both of you. It was fun to check Mulekicker and see he actually visited the forum last month. For those that didn't know him he built and sold controllers when members were just starting to go electric. Opened his own business and kind of left us. Hope he returns.
