At his memorial service I got up and spoke about all the good he had done for the homeless and also the donations he had made to charity. In my comments I said we got together for our love of boating and whiskey, then I went on to likkin him to the angels share. I defined the angels share to the group and told them even though the angels share is gone the rest of the whiskey is better because of it. Having left us we are better because of it!

You picked a really good analogy that fits the situation very gracefully. Just yesterday, I to a tour of his earlier posting looking for an idea I read a couple of years ago....He was good.

Tis my salute to mr Mash rookie.... although he be gone from our physical world as is the air we breathe he is with us. through all he has contributed us in his time shared on this earthly plane.... we cannot feel nor see him but he was here, he shared his soul to us, his heart his thoughts... part of his life.

god bless you, mash rookie, as we know you, and happy trails to your new path of existence. the spirit pass between us as we extract the good nectar of spirit that pulled us together, till our time also cometh, and we also join you.

rest in peace good sir and also those left behind, who grieve your loss. may they feel the comfort they need to face the life ahead, till they shall join you. peace to all....
