goodbye aus

Post by googe »

Hey all, got a tap on the shoulder at work today and they've accepted my voluntary redundancy. Got walked out the door this afternoon with a fat cheque and now currently drinking beer and being an unemployed bum  . we are moving to new Zealand and should be there by about the 10th July. Going to be legally distilling for.the first time, can't wait

Now I have to adjust my bucket list as I was hoping to visit a lot of our members you, EG, Doc, etc when I visit Australia but now I am going to have to try and make it to NZ as well I guess. Currently my wife is looking at a 47 day cruise in the Amazon but her Norwegian cousins want us to do another cruise in the Mediterranean.

Thanks fellas  . I've got my three column still all packed away ready for the trip!, got rid of most of my other crap stuff. because I'll be legal I'll be building something special and size doesn't matter eitherlol. Well, mitchy, the plan is, I'll just get any work I can to get some money coming in, the missus will do the same, then her parents have offered to help her out with getting her aromatherapy business up and running. I'm going to try start building some pot stills etc to sell as a side business while working. Then we're going to try setup some cottages on our land for holiday rental, and I'll make stills and run that. Fingers crossed!. Wairarapa Bruce, around greytown. Lol Chris that's something I'll.need to get used to!. Lol bob. Yeah crow, its very similar weather, but colder at night though. Lol coyote, there's some good trout streams all around where we'll be  . Your more than welcome.bushman  .

Congrats on the first steps in your new adventure! I hope it is all...and more... of what your hopes are.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for an opportunity to take one of your rooms to let for a week or two. Can't be more than 20 hours on a jet from here.
I finally quit drinking for good.
