Man! I just spent a week and a half on a factory-branded car forum looking for advice on my buddy's girlfriend's 2003 American made "sport compact." I posted the symptoms and question. On day 2 got this reply: "Is the check engine light on?" Answered. Day 11 got a reply so snarky and condescending it makes rad sound like an Advice-to-the-Lovelorn column.

If you have car questions, I know a guy who is a car savant, He's also crazy as a loon but brilliant with cars and pretty much knows everything there is to know about every car ever made including the complete history of the origin of every part on it and what parts made by other manufacturers will fit on it. Sometimes he's difficult to follow but I haven't seen him not know the answer to a car question yet.
