I wonder what Roys thoughts were on synthetics, turbos, and 20% washes. Never got a chance to ask :(

I just see, we have only 20329 members at the moment. Did the mods delete something like 10000 dead accounts? Just curious.

Good eye, der wo.
We were up to 32,000 as a matter of fact.
I noted that number as a "selling point" for a distilling presentation I attended recently.

If never accounts would have been deleted, we would be 64445 members now. Click on "Our newest member" and you see "...memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=64445". So I know there were a few wipe outs in the past. Perhaps it was this time when Uncle Jesse upgraded something? I don't know, I am just curious.

pretty much what happened, lots of accounts that were made and never logged back in so after a few years of not logging in once you can be sure they won't.

I pruned out any member who had:

1. Registered more than two years ago but never activated their account.

2. Registered more than two years ago but never posted and never logged in.

It was a lot of dead accounts. So, I pruned them.

20,333.

Almost all of those have registered and at least come back to visit, and most have posted at least once.
