Walking Wolf

Post by Jeffrich »

I'm not sure where to post this, but I thought members would want to know.

A lot of folks here know Walking Wolf. He lost a long battle with cancer on Thanksgiving night 24 Nov 2016. I had the privilege of growing up with him. Those who knew him, know that he was truly a Great Man and will be Greatly missed....

This is really sad news. I new he was sick but did not know the details, before getting sick he was very helpful and a positive contributor here on HD. Years ago he sent me a PM offering me a great deal on a 50" by 4" stainless steel pipe with commercial soldered ferrules on both ends for my new CM build I was starting. It came from the dairy industry. We were both studying absinthe at about the same time in 2010 or 2011 and we joined the Wormwood Society Forum and spent a lot of time sharing ideas. I will make sure Tater transfers his status to the Angels share.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I remember him posting about this a while back.

As many here, I've enjoyed reading through his posts here on the forum.

Thank you for letting us know.

For new members I thought I would share 2 pot stills WalkingWolf built. The first one has a triple walled condenser thus it does not need the same length. The second has always been one of my favorite designs because of it's balance, it also may allow for some passive reflux.

Tonight I will have a 3 finger shot of whiskey made from my still knowing that you sent me the column for my build. Rest in peace!

Wow, that saddens me ...I will also tip one in his honor this evening.
Wouldn't it be neat if we could have a set time for all of us to share a drink together at the same time?
I understand we are all on different time zones, but shouldn't be hard to come up with an acceptable time for all.
