Playoffs- who will take it?

Post by Shine0n »

Being an (American football) nut Im just wondering what are people's picks for the play offs? Being a Browns fan I may never experience the joy of post season let alone a Super Bowl celebration but I still love the game none the less!
Sooooo, Bring it on! Who will go all the way?

Well as a Steelers fan I'm pulling for them all the way, but realistically i think the Pats and Cowboys are gonna be tough to get by.

I agree, Seahawks had the talent at the beginning but early injuries and season ending injuries to key players have taken them out of Super Bowl contention. As mentioned I would say those two are the favorites but I won't root for either. Cowboys because when the owner bought the team he got rid of one of the best coaches in the game and for the game. Patriots, just because of their questionable past attempts of gaining an advantage.

Jimmy Johnson was one of the best coaches ever and I didn't like that Jerry did that to him eithe, my dad is a die hard and ONLY for that reason I would pull for them if they make it.
For the pats, I hate to admit it but Tom Brady is probably the best qb to play the game. He has made mediocre receivers look great year after year and age hasn't slowed him a bit, it seems he gets better with age. Sounds familiar doesn't it?
My buddies son played for MSU when Dak played there and I had the privilege to see him play and meet him. Nice young man!
That young man running the ball for the Boys is a beast and unless an injury knocks him out, I don't see anyone stopping him and the Boys from winning the whole shebang.

Rodgers the last 4 or 5 games has been awesome. I thought when Nelson went out that they would struggle a bit... not so much!
Still don't think GB defense can handle the Boys though. We'll see next week!!!!

Tom Brady is gonna get another ring. Not my favorite team. But the Patriots are the toughest team to beat (right now).

Big Ben looked pretty tough today and the Steeler defense was tight. But Miami isn't the greatest opponent for them. Next Sunday will be a little more challenging for them.

The Seahawks have been in a slump the last half of the season, although they did pull off a wild card victory today.

Green Bay looked sick through 1-1/2 quarters today. But in the end, Rodgers executed very well.

Atlanta is a team to watch. They've been tough in the season, but will they have the stamina to sustain in the post season?

Still...I think the Patriots will endure and finish on top.

Being a Jets fan, I just really hope the Pats don't win it all... That being said, I think they will. I would love to see Dallas win though, I really like Dak

Well, being that the two most important offensive weapons on the pats are Bay Area boys, I might have to go for them. Although I still like both the Seahawks and the packers.

I was there and it was an awesome atmosphere and game. The first half didn't look as bad in person as I'm hearing today. Rogers seemed to be hanging on to the ball a bit to long thus the nonproduction. Sometimes I think the coaching staff does crazy shit to analyze how opposing teams and individual players react. Then sting um later knowing what to do. Anyway it was great for Green Bay to come away with a win as the last 2 times New York visited Green Bay in the Playoffs it was a different story.

Being a full blown Cheese Head I gotta go with the "Pack" even if it's a long shot. "GO PACK GO"

Go Sea Hawks!
I realize it probably a long shot, but stranger things have happened. I hate the Pats and I especially hate cheating Brady and Belicek, but I know they are still pretty good and can go all the way. Still, we did beat them at home in New England earlier this season, (one of the two losses they had this year.) The only thing about the Hawks is that you never know which team is going to show up. They've beaten the best and lost to the worst, so who knows? But first, the Falcons in Atlanta, which will be a tough one.

Long shot? What about the "sleepers"...the AFC #2 seed..with Alex Smith & Andy Reid? It could happen. That'd be a real cinderella story, and probably pay big time in Vegas.

I'd like to see the Chiefs do well but it's a long shot for sure! Although strange things have happened in the playoffs with underdogs winning it all!
I just love football in general and hope to see good games, since my Browns have never even been to a super bowl (came close once, damn Earnest fumble) I keep an open mind on who to cheer for.

I like individuals on most teams and hope them well, Alex Smith who the 49rs did wrong and look at what they ended up with. Just for that I'd like to see him get that SB ring just to shove in in their face!
Pats- they have enough rings
Steelers- I'd like to see Big Ben get one more
Pac- Rodgers is on fire and a great qb
Cowboys- damn hard to stop if they stay healthy
Hawks- never know who will show

Rickos, that's what I love!!! The team enthusiasm, the love of one's team and the pure hatred for the opponents.

I have the Dawg pound and have been there first hand to see and feel the experience and there's nothing like it in the world. Probably would be better if the Browns could have a winning season though. Lol

Not to hijack the thread away from the Pro teams and the NFL Playoffs, but WOW, how about the last second win by Clemson over Alabama last night. What an upset, but a really good game.

Yea them birds sure did look good. Offense, defense and special teams. They may be hard to handle next round no matter who plays them.
