where to buy SPP (spiral Prismatic packing)
well, I didn't want to do this as I thought I was more than capable of finding it on the web, but alas not
Where do people get there packing from or can someone sell it to me.
Nothing In new zealand, 2 links on Ebay, (to small they were 3.3 by something else)
how is this stuff not all over the place, I may have to start filling a hole in the NZ market.
Am I having a manlook on the internet, or what?
Thanks in advance

I know a few members makes this, and I know ODIN use to sell it as well, but I can no longer find it on his site.
So this is I guess also a WTB thread, any members able to make me some, or no someone who does, im after a kg at the moment, but i'l be back for another kg (so i can fill a 1 meter section later)
over Scrubbers, and want to move into the easier side of distilling

Re: where to buy SPP (spiral Prismatic packing)
I have some from big swede who used to sell it. I have enough to to fill a 2" column 4' tall. Would be glad to sell it. It worked ok on the 2", but I could not make it work any better than scrubbies with mixed packing on the 4" and am not willing to buy enough to fill 6' of 4".

Re: where to buy SPP (spiral Prismatic packing)
thanks for the reply people
the specs from stainlessstuff.net say:
Dimensions of the SPP :
-2.4mm diameter
-2 to 3 mm length
-0.25mm wire diameter
-wire is stainless steel 304
from what I have read, this is waaaay to small for a 2' still (correct me if i'm wrong, i'l take real world experience over hypothetical anyday)
EDIT: Just read cobs post and says it should be fine, thanks cob, Time to pinch some pennies, good price to from that site

You can get them from Poland?
Very good quality @Good price:
http://destylandia.com/51-column-packings" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
NZ is not on the drop down list of places they deliver to but I would have thought they would? Just drop them a line.
RR
from the description they do 4.5mm x 8-10mm (0.25 wire)
