Just got bumped
Sitting in the Portland Airport that was going to be a long layover just got shorter. Not only did we get bumped to an earlier flight but wife and I just got $300 vouchers each for our next flight. It's starting out to be a great day!

thats a hell of a deal.
last time an airline did anything to me for me, i was leaving vegas and the plane i was supposed to be on was late. It got caught in weather in halifax and was 3 hours late getting to edmonton, enroute to vegas.
when it got to vegas the shock on the front landing gear failed
and after the 3 hour delay, they had to call in the mechanic. 45 mins later they sent out 15 food chits to everyone for waiting...and then finally hour and a half later after the repair as we boarded a 5.5 hour late flight they graciously gave out 150 vouchers in hopes we would be dumb enough to book another flight with them some day....

We also got the exit aisle seats so we had more leg room.
