I've yet to polish off an entire fifth by myself in one sitting (although I've come close), but here's an example of an individual who pulled it off, which is amazing given she's a female and might weigh 20 whole pounds!

When the bar owner discovered this she said "Oooooo!"

In Australia we have possums, which apparently are NOT the same animal.

Judging the size of the possum and the size of the bottle, I can not believe the animal drank the whole bottle.
So some of te bourbon must still be in the flour. Maybe distill some of the floorplanks?

Re: Opposum Bourbon
An average adult female 'possum weighs maybe five or six pounds. A fifth of bourbon weighs about a pound and a half. They are resilient critters, but I doubt anything could drink a quarter of its own bodyweight in booze and survive.
I've been trying to come up with the 'possum version of "drunk as a skunk", but no success...

I'm not sure if a possum's metabolism processes fine spirits like us humans, but after I've had more than a few and need to complete some household chores I've been known to 'play dead'. Just ask my wife.sweeps wrote: I doubt anything could drink a quarter of its own bodyweight in booze and survive.
